Well, I had Katriss's face-up redone (by Shallowsleep at DoA, the same artist who did Thane's). I decided I wanted her to look more goth, glamorous and sexy than she did before. I also redid her blushing and made it much more subtle. I still have to redo her hooves and horns although I haven't decided on what colors to use yet. So, for now, she's in her human guise.

Anyway, I just love her now. When I see her standing on my nightstand (where she hangs out with Julian, Kaylee and Caroline), I often just stand and marvel over her for a few moments. She finally completely clicked for me.

Edmond le Strange (from my story "The Monster and the Maiden") has finally become real (well, in the resin-sense anyway…haha). A Dollshe Saint was the only doll that I thought would do justice to my character. It's so great to finally have him around!

I opted against getting the new Dollshe body for him since it's too tall for me (74cm, I think). I'd like my guys to remain in the 65-70cm range so they can share clothes. I considered getting an old-version Saint, but all the ones I saw on the second-hand market were going for a lot more money than I felt comfortable paying.

Instead, I got him a Soom Heliot body (the one with the longer legs so that he stands 68cm). It actually works perfectly as I wanted him to be taller than Julian, but shorter than Tahlvin. Perhaps when Dollshe releases the new 70cm body, I'll consider switching, but I do love muscles of the Soom body.

Now I just have to find a doll to shell his lover Emily Shadowtalon (Tahlvin's daughter… ).

Those cheekbones kill me.

Of course, I had to try glasses on him. He needs them to read his many spell books, but he hates to wear them around Emily.

By the way, Edmond totally stole Thane's (my Sard's) jointed hands. Thane is now stuck with his original default hands. Bad, Edmond!

The second of the multiheads that was sent with Caroline. I think this is an Ante head? Anyway, I think it's cute how small it is. And to think, a pukipuki head is even smaller!

Caroline, the newest member of my dolly family, arrived at the beginning of September. She's a Minifee Woosoo Vampire Elf by Fairyland, and has Beautiful White (BW) skin as opposed to Kaylee's normal skin (NS).

Anyway, I'd wanted her for quite a while and I'm very happy to finally have her here. I think she's all kinds of adorable. I'm also totally loving her default face-up from Fairyland. It was actually one of the reasons I wanted her in the first place.

Net result of getting her: I think I'm addicted to Minifees—I want more.

I so love her wee fangs.

Her wig is all cockeyed here, which I didn't notice until I was editing the pictures, but she still looks cute so I kept the picture anyway.

Again with the crooked wig. Ack!

Anyway, the little head is one of the two puki multiheads that came with Caroline. I think it's a Cupid head? Whatever it is, it sure is adorable. I kind of want to get a pukipuki or pukifee body now, which I'm sure was Fairyland's hope when they gave away the multiheads for free.

Before System left to go home last Friday, I had him help me model some SD13-sized shirts by See No Evil Designs that I'm offering for sale on DoA. (I had initially gotten them for Julian, my Soom Spinel, before he arrived but they totally don't fit him.) System's also wearing Kaylee's (my MNF Shushu's) hat and Julian's jeans.

I'm going to miss this guy (and so is Viktor who hung out with him the most). I really enjoyed getting the chance to work on him and play around with him. He's a lovely doll. But, he's safely back home in Montana now.

My aunt's Lati Red Aida, aka System, was visiting me the last couple of months. She sent him to me so I could blush him and enhance his face-up a bit. It was fun to work on a doll that wasn't my own. Plus, I love Latidolls so it was great to work on one that's a lot bigger than Wednesday (my Lati Green Coco).

For some reason, it's a lot of fun to blush elf ears.

I also really love to do manicures, even though they are challenging for me.

Until very recently, I've been going back and forth over whether I should sell my Sard or not. His previous face-up was just not working for me so I got a new one for him. When he arrived home several months ago from his new face-up, his body was pulled apart in preparation for blushing (which I never ended up doing). Actually, it wasn't until just his past weekend that I restrung him, and only then because I was going to put a feeler thread up on DoA and I needed to get pictures of him. However, once I put him back together, dressed him and found the perfect wig, well…I fell in love!

So, he stays!

I'm so happy to be excited about him again. I thought he was going to be one of those dolls I was meant to admire from afar. It was very frustrating when I couldn't get him to work for me.

Anyway, he's once again pulled apart as I'm working on his blushing (yes, for real this time! haha). I can't wait until I'm done so he can be a complete doll again.

Oh, and I'm renaming him. I don't really like his old name (Merek) any more. So, now he's "Thane", which is short for Thanatos, the Greek god of the dead. With his monochromatic coloring, he seems like a death god to me.
