It&#039;s not too hard too do manicures.  The hardest part, I think, is drawing/painting the white of the nail (I draw the line on with a white watercolor pencil, spray a coat of MSC then paint over it with white acrylic).

I didn&#039;t use any tutorials, although it has taken me about 5 manicures to get down a technique that I really like.  Viktor&#039;s hands were actually the first that turned out exactly how I wanted them.  I even ended up redoing Julian&#039;s hands and I think I&#039;m going to redo Katriss&#039; somewhere down the line.

The veins are fun to do too.  Victor actually has raised veining on his hands anyway, so really all I did was lightly paint them with indigo pastels to emphasize them.

Anyway, I didn&#039;t use a tutorial. I&#039;ve just realised (with the mask gone) that Akandos and Spinels have similar head/jaw structures! And the rugged look&#039;s brought out even more with the monochrome photog.

The hand blushing&#039;s awesome, too. Veins included. ^_^ Btw, was it hard to do the manicure? Is there a tutorial somewhere? :D]]></description>
