The Wee Ones are so excited for Christmas and fascinated by the beautiful tree. They are all prepared for Santa too—the cookies and milk have already been set out. Molly has even brought her Glo-Worm so she can more closely inspect the presents under the tree.

New Eyes for Baby Dragons

Some quick pics to show Cheese and Berry's new Mako Eyes. So sparkly! I'll take better pics later to show the true beauty of these eyes.

Cheese's eyes are actually a dark grey (DAN-022 in 18mm) but they seem to photograph with a slight purple tint.

These are actually the same color eyes (AM-021) that Berry had before, but I sized her up to 18mm instead of the 16mm she used to wear.

The Wee Ones have finished their project—Cheese's home is complete. I think they are satisfied with a job well done. (Of course, Biscuit felt the need to fortify herself with another piece of bread and peanut butter. )

It looks like a cosy home for a baby dragon. I'm sure Cheese will love it.

The first part of building Cheese's cage was done, now the decorating could commence.

(I had meant to post these pictures at the beginning of the week, but I'd been so stressed out about a dentist appointment I had on Thursday that I couldn't pull myself together enough to finish editing the pictures. XD Ugh! I hate the dentist.)

Joe was tired so he decided he needed a break to rearrange his tool box. XD

Berry brought one of her favorite books for Cheese. (She wants it back someday though.)

Under the direction of Mei, Biscuit set up the sitting area. She had to fight the instinct to take a quick catnap (the pillows looked so soft and inviting).

Mei coordinated all the decorative elements.

Building a Home for Cheese, Part 1

When Berry heard that Cheese, another baby dragon, would be coming to live here, she decided he should have a little cage-den like the one she has. So, she gathered together some of the Wee Ones to help her out.

Mei volunteered to be in charge of the decorating—it's one of her favorite hobbies.

Biscuit said she would put together a cheese basket for Cheese. She's quite the clever kitten.

Berry laid the flooring and hung a cute dragon picture that she found online.

Using the tools he got from my mom for Christmas, Joe made sure the cage was in working order.

Cheese is Here!

I can't believe Cheese is here already! He arrived on Saturday (May 2).

I'll be taking better pictures of him later (I have a little story planned), but I had to share how cute he looked when he first got here (even without eyes).

He's even more adorable than I thought he would be. He has some purple shading in addition to the blue and pink. I don't think the prototype had purple shading, but I think it really adds a nice touch. I love purple and blue together.

It wasn't too hard to choose eyes for Cheese since I don't have a large selection of bigger eyes. He can wear 16-18mm eyes, but I think the 18mm look cuter. I only have one pair of 18mm, the blue ones on the right (I stole them from Wolfie, my Dear Mine Oz). I'm not sure if he'll keep them (I've started shopping for some 18mm eyes), but they will do for now. At least he can see.

Okay, I couldn't help it. Look who is coming home soon! He'll be a friend/sidekick for Berry. He even already has a name—Cheese (as in Blue). I've already ordered him a cage (like Berry has) and started getting things to decorate it.
