Note: As I was putting Tahlvin's mosaic together, I realized I hadn't taken a picture of his new face-up yet despite him having it for almost a year now. I had to take a special picture just for this mosaic. *hangs head in shame* I've made it a personal goal to take more pictures of my dolls in 2012.

Note: I had the hardest time finding a look that I was completely happy with for Katriss. Her current face-up, by Cristy Stone, perfectly captures the character of Katriss, I think. I can't envision her any other way now.

Note: Kaylee also had a Shushu default face-up by Fairyland but I never took a picture of it. When she first arrived, she was here for only a few hours before I wiped the default face-up off and sent her head away to get a new face-up (by Kittymaru).

Note: Thane's first face-up ended up flaking off through no fault of the face-up artist. It turned out that his face was very rough which caused there to be bubbles when the MSC was sprayed on it and acrylics painted over it. It wasn't noticeable unless you looked closely, but then the face-up started chipping… Before I sent him to ShallowSleep, I sanded his entire face and got it silky smooth. I didn't want another face-up to flake off!

So, I ordered a shirt from one of my friends on Den of Angels. It arrived last night from Australia with a little paper-heart letter to Julian signed by Hydrakitten and her boys. So cute! And, of course, he wanted to say "thank you!". ♥

Rosenrot

Kaylee stars in Julian's new video "Rosenrot" (Rose Red) as a Lolita-like character who tempts Julian's character into a forbidden romance. :halo:

I enhanced Kaylee's lips in photoshop for this series of photos as I wanted her to look a little more sultry and not quite as innocent as her actual face-up makes her look.

Now, I kinda wish her lips really were this color. haha

My lovely friend Ann (angelfish_68 on flickr) sent these awesome yellow-tinted Elfdoll sunglasses to Julian and the other guys (although, Julian has claimed them as his own).

Julian liked them so much that he decided to wear them during the photo shoot for his new single "Too Much Love Can Kill You".

So, this series of pictures is dedicated to Ann. Thank you so much!

Chapter 1: Weathering the Scandal

Well, here it is: my first photostory. In case you're not familiar with my dolls or their characters, this chapter stars:

Ethyn Regret, an actor who is currently trying to deal with a scandal concerning him and his rock star roommate. He is also getting ready to go on location to film his new movie.

Tahlvin Shadowtalon, an elf who works for the Wraith Warriors, a company that provides mercenaries and operatives to other businesses or governments for a fee. He seems quite amused by the drama that seems to have recently gripped the household.

Julian Nomad is the lead singer and songwriter for the industrial rock band NOMAD. As the other person caught up in the scandal, he's been trying to figure out how to talk to Ethyn about it all.
