I'm still unable to use my regular camera so I decided to have a little fun with the camera filters on my phone.

This picture of Katriss is the wallpaper I'm using for my phone's lockscreen.

Hale lost a bet with Thane and now, not only does he have to wear a harem outfit, but he's supposed to perform a dance as well. Katriss will be joining them soon since she's very much been looking forward to seeing Hale's performance. Thane is in no hurry for her to arrive however; he wants to savor his wine and enjoy Hale's discomfort for awhile longer. (Cheeky demon!)

Note: As I was putting Tahlvin's mosaic together, I realized I hadn't taken a picture of his new face-up yet despite him having it for almost a year now. I had to take a special picture just for this mosaic. *hangs head in shame* I've made it a personal goal to take more pictures of my dolls in 2012.

Note: I had the hardest time finding a look that I was completely happy with for Katriss. Her current face-up, by Cristy Stone, perfectly captures the character of Katriss, I think. I can't envision her any other way now.

Note: Kaylee also had a Shushu default face-up by Fairyland but I never took a picture of it. When she first arrived, she was here for only a few hours before I wiped the default face-up off and sent her head away to get a new face-up (by Kittymaru).

Note: Thane's first face-up ended up flaking off through no fault of the face-up artist. It turned out that his face was very rough which caused there to be bubbles when the MSC was sprayed on it and acrylics painted over it. It wasn't noticeable unless you looked closely, but then the face-up started chipping… Before I sent him to ShallowSleep, I sanded his entire face and got it silky smooth. I didn't want another face-up to flake off!

It's a lot of fun to take pictures of Katriss—she has such a strong personality. Some might say she's a bitch, and they wouldn't be wrong. But, being a succubus/demon, it kind of comes with the territory.

P.S. How I adore this gown! It's by kawaiimon of Dorset Clothing and is among my most favorite doll outfits that I own.

I'm still in an inspiration drought, but this past weekend I forced myself to take pictures of both Katriss and Emily (whose photos will be posted in the next couple of days) since they have been home for about a month now. Their new face-ups are too gorgeous to keep to myself.

Oh, and I just gotta say, if ever a doll was made to wear a corset it would be the Soom Super Gem girls. Good thing too because Katriss has about four corsets.

Sneak-Peek: Katriss and Emily

I received some wonderfully exciting, doll-related news today: Katriss and Emily's face-ups are done and they are absolutely gorgeous! Cristy, face-up artist extraordinaire, sent me pictures of their completed face-ups this morning. I had tears of happiness running down my face by the time I was done looking through them. ♥

I couldn't wait to show off their new looks, so Cristy kindly gave me permission to post her pictures of my girls' here. Hopefully they will be back home by the end of the week or early next week. I can't wait to see them in person and see them with their usual eyes and wigs on.

I love how Katriss has that supermodel pout going on. And her eyebrows slay me—they are amazing in their detail and their arch-iness. (Yay for made-up words. ) I'm also glad I asked for the beauty mark. It gives the perfect finishing touch. She's definitely succubus material.

Oh, Emily! She turned out just as I envisioned. No, scratch that. Cristy took my vision and enhanced it tenfold. Emily looks so glamourous! Edmond won't know what to do with himself when he sees her. I asked for Cristy to add a splash of purple to her smokey eyeshadow (since it's Emily's favorite color), and I love how it looks. And, again, I adore how her eyebrows turned out (I do so love good and detailed doll eyebrows). I think Cristy even painted Emily's tooth plate (just like her eyes, the teeth can actually be removed when you open her head cap), what a nice detail!

As you may have noticed, I also had Cristy pierce the girls' ears while they were there. Now I can get little earrings for them! That'll be fun.
