The Wee Ones are so excited for Christmas and fascinated by the beautiful tree. They are all prepared for Santa too—the cookies and milk have already been set out. Molly has even brought her Glo-Worm so she can more closely inspect the presents under the tree.

Lily and Wednesday have taken over Muffy and Hoppy's cubby for awhile. They needed a place where they could hang out together and read books.
]]>Lily claimed this bean bag chair as her own when it arrived a few weeks ago. She likes having a place where she can snuggle up and read her books. She might have a fight on her hands before long though–some of the other tinies are showing interest in the chair. Better be on your guard, Lily!
This photo is from earlier this summer. I was getting ready to go visit my parents on the coast so I had dressed Lily in her overalls so that she would be ready for playing on the beach. She made sure to take her Hello Kitty doll along.
]]>I've been so busy with finishing the house (painting and looking for furniture for the living room) that I've not had time to play with my dolls. I did, however, manage to get some pictures of Wednesday and Lily when they were out in the yard the other day.
Two friends enjoy some time outside.
I think they are so cute together. Wednesday loves the Wee Ones (my Lati Yellows and little anthro dolls) but she's happy to have a friend that is closer to her own age and size. (It's nice that they can share some clothes as well.)
Best friends!
OMAKE:
Wednesday will forever be one of my favorite dolls. She's just so adorable! I still like her grey eyes the best, but these eyes are a fun change.

A little rabbit, named Lily, came to live at my house recently. I had tried to resist her charms, but her cuteness wore me down. Amongst rainstorms, I managed to get a few pictures of her in the garden.
I ordered her with the default face-up, but it didn't look like it did in the sales photos—while the black mouth-line was there, her bottom lip and bunny teeth were unpainted. Also, she had a slight black smudge on her nose. When I rubbed it off—gently—with a Magic Eraser, the blushing color came with it. So, I redid her nose blushing, added extra blush to her cheeks, painted the two white dots under her eyes, and finished her mouth and bunny teeth. I dusted some glitter over her face as well, but it doesn't show up at all in the photos. I also applied some pretty eyelashes.
I think she has an adorable profile.
I painted her fingernails and toenails a pearlescent white. In person, it gives them a subtle depth and sparkle. I wanted to highlight them a bit, but I didn't want to do a color since I was worried that pulling her hands and feet through clothes would wear the tips away and that would be very noticeable with a darker color.
A quick review:
She's a YoSD-sized BJD, but made of ABS plastic instead of resin, which means she costs a fraction of what she would be if she was a resin doll. The ABS plastic also means she's considerably lighter than my other YoSD-sized doll. She poses like a champ though and is really stable on her feet. I didn't even have to wire her or use hot glue sueding (except for her neck). (If you want to see how well she can pose, I recommend reading Retrograde Works' excellent review.)
One thing I don't really like about her is how her head is attached to her body. It's hard to explain, but the elastic attaches to plastic "bars" in her head. It makes it really hard to remove the head, which is necessary to change her eyes. I much prefer heads that attach with S-hooks or O-rings—they make the head so much easier to remove. In the future, I might try restringing her so that she can use an S-hook instead.
The headcap was also almost impossible to take off. I actually had to use the can opener on my Leatherman tool to gently wedge it open. haha! Luckily, that was easy to fix. I just filed the sides of the pegs a bit and I can pop the cap on and off now.
Overall, I'm really happy with her. She's super-cute and I love her smiling face. I also love that she can share clothes with Wednesday, my Lati Green Coco.
