Dollroom Close-ups (Part 3)

I couldn't fit all of my BJDs into the armoire. Here are three of them sitting (or standing) out in the dollroom (left to right): Charli (Iplehouse SID Ashanti), Ethyn (Dollshe Hound), System (Lati Red Aida).

I still feel so lucky to have this girl—she's so beautiful.

Did you know that I've had Ethyn for seven years now? Pretty cool, I think. I still adore this guy. He's channelling Doctor Who at the moment.

Do you remember this guy? Back in 2009, my aunt sent System to me so that I could blush his body for her. Last year, she decided to sell most of her BJDs; she sent System to me as a gift. She's so sweet.

I was a bit sad wiping his original face-up, but I wanted a softer, and younger look for him.

My aunt's doll, a Dollstown Elysia/Impldoll hybrid, has been visiting me so that I could blush her body. Once I finished, I thought it was a perfect time to take a few pictures of her before I wrapped her up for her journey back home.

Happy Birthday, Sis!

Today is my sister's birthday, but she got her present from me when she was visiting a few weeks ago. I gave her My Melody Barbie so that she could use the clothes for her Soom Aren. Yep, we ruthlessly stripped poor Barbie so that Aren could have a new outfit.

There's a special reason why I picked a My Melody Barbie to give to my sister: During my first year as a Brownie, my sister was too young to be in the Girl Scouts but the troop leader still allowed Sis to come to the meetings. She soon became our mascot—we called her our Bunny. During a meeting where the troop leader was giving out badges, my sister was presented with a My Melody necklace. (It was adorable!) And since then, every time I see My Melody, I'm reminded of my sister being our troop's Bunny.

Our Dolls, Part 5

These are the last of the pictures of our dolls together. I meant to post it last week, but just couldn't find the time. XD

Anyway, when my sister first got her Soom Aren a few years ago, we made up a story where Aren the angel fell in love with a human—Ethyn. She wanted more than anything to be human so that they could be together but since she couldn't she became his protector and guardian instead.

It was really exciting to finally take a picture of these two together!

Our Dolls, Part 4

All three of our Minifee girls together! I've wanted to see them like this for awhile now. From left to right: Julia, Kaylee, and Selene.

This is Selene, my sister's Vampire Elf Woosoo. I used to have a white-skinned version of this doll. I'm glad to still have a Woosoo in the family as I think she's adorable. She's borrowing one of Kaylee's wigs here, but my sis liked it on her so much she ended up getting one for herself.

I don't think I've shown Julia's (my Chloe's) new face-up by HimiMO yet. And, I totally love this wig—the colors are so pretty!

Our Dolls, Part 3

Continuing the pictures of my dolls with my sister's dolls…

My sister's doll Aren (Soom Angel Aren) has three Ken boyfriends at her home, but that didn't stop her from checking out my Fashion Royalty boys. Darius was the lucky guy to get his picture taken with her—he was very happy with the decision. She looks quite excited about it as well. Don't they look adorable together? I think my sister might want to get a Darius now.

I love Aren so much. I wanted to steal her.

Oh, by the way, I gave her a purple manicure while she was here. It turned out really cute, but her hands are so tiny! It's like giving a Barbie a manicure.

Also, Darius has had some customization by me: I redid his lips and gave him some shading.

Our Dolls, Part 2

Can you think of a more inappropriate doll to take a picture with cute little Ali (my sister's Alice Cherry Blossom piglet)? Yeah, we couldn't either. We thought the pairing was hilarious!

Secretly, Thane has a soft-spot for little Ali but he'll vehemently deny it if questioned. Demons have a rep to protect, you know.

Snoink had so much fun riding McPonysons, he decided to see what riding a demon would be like (although I think Snoink thought Thane's horns meant he was a ram or something equally benign). Can you sense Thane's barely reined hostility? Poor Snoink looks a little nervous.

OMG! It's so much fun to torture Thane with cuteness! I think he might kill me now though.
