I&#039;m on DoA as shirahime. I don&#039;t really post there that often but I&#039;ve found their BJD database to be really helpful particuarly as I&#039;ve heard company photos can be rather misleading.

Congratulations on getting your first doll!  It can be a little overwhelming in the beginning, can&#039;t it?  What doll did you get?

And, yes, I absolutely love the jointed hands.  They can be a little finicky (i.e. the tips of the fingers or the joints will sometimes twist around so you have to keep an eye on that so they don&#039;t look unnatural in photos), but it&#039;s fun to pose them. I&#039;d like to get some thin wire to put inside the fingers so they hold poses even better.
