Alone with Her Thoughts
June 14th, 2010
So, here's Emily's new face-up. I still have to do her body blushing and tattoo work though. It's been really rainy here lately though so I've not been able to get that started yet.
I don't want to ruin her gorgeous face-up, but I've also been contemplating putting the "x" back on her face that I had on her in these pictures. What do you think?
Does she look like a little like Helena Bonham Carter to anyone else in these pictures? Or is it just me. It must be the curly hair.

Oh WOW she looks amazing! I liked the X you had on her face before, very unique and it added a bit of extra character to her. But

Oops, comment posted before I was finished 😡
Any who, as I was saying, the X was visually really cool but I can totally understand your hesitation about putting it on her now with her new face-up.

Oh my she is so beautiful and soft looking . To me the x would detract, Maybe a beauty mark or something you could just put on her for a special outfit. I love her. :XO:

She is so gorgeous! I personally like the faceup without the x.

Oh Kara! I didn't think it could be possible that Emily would be more gorgeous than before! Absolutely breathtaking, romantic, soft and sexy!
Not so sure I would do the X either…unless maybe you could remove it?

i like the x
but i suppose ideally you could have a removable tattoo – i guess i like the juxtaposition the x gives vs her very innocent look

She is so yielding, so completely, well in love. Gorgeous is right but there's a soft abandonment that goes beyond gorgeous.
I like the X. It's the sharp point, the pin in the cushion. But if you are having second thoughts, I'd advise not using it.

Wowzers, she's stunning! There's a very intense quality to her face-up that gives her quite a serious look; but from other angles (like in photo 5) she looks very contemplative, slightly less sure. At least, I think so. She's beautiful, anywho. 😯
And I do see the Helena Bonham-Carter resemblance; I think it's the shape of her eyes and the frizzy hair.
Personally I think she'd look good with or without the X; the X seems like a younger addition. Sort of a spur-of-the-moment thing she's had done as a teenager or something (in a good way). But that's just me. Like I say, she's beautiful either way!

She's such a doll…no pun intended. 🙂

Oh, she is gorgeous! Soft and gentle – yes! But there's also strength underneath that. I imagine 7-th picture as a huge paining hanging in the gloomy hall… Maybe Edmond wouldn't mind to have it? 😉
And Very-Very Happy Birthday to you Kara!

Hmm.:?:
That is a tough one, the whole "x" or no "x" dealio.
I'd probly try it out with a pencil or something, if I had a BJD, first. (lightly, mind you )
I dunno, she is very pretty.
So I'd be terrified to do anything as well 🙁 .
I'd be overcome with the fear of effing her beautiful face. 😕

I meant effing up, sorry. 😳
I'm tired and wired, and my keyboard sucks.
