Edmond
November 15th, 2011
I've decided to try to take pictures of one (or more) of my dolls a week. I really want to take more pictures of them especially since the tiny dolls seem to get most of the pictures lately.
So, Pip was last week, but it's Edmond's turn this week. I really missed taking his picture since it's so much fun to play with how the light and shadows play across his face. He looks so different depending on how he is lit. Dollshe really made an amazing sculpt.
Princess Toadstool

When my sister visited me last month, she brought a present for Pip: a little toadstool outfit by Boneka plus a toad/frog finger puppet. So cute!

Happy Birthday, Sis!
October 25th, 2011
Today is my sister's birthday, but she got her present from me when she was visiting a few weeks ago. I gave her My Melody Barbie so that she could use the clothes for her Soom Aren. Yep, we ruthlessly stripped poor Barbie so that Aren could have a new outfit. 😉
There's a special reason why I picked a My Melody Barbie to give to my sister: During my first year as a Brownie, my sister was too young to be in the Girl Scouts but the troop leader still allowed Sis to come to the meetings. She soon became our mascot—we called her our Bunny. During a meeting where the troop leader was giving out badges, my sister was presented with a My Melody necklace. (It was adorable!) And since then, every time I see My Melody, I'm reminded of my sister being our troop's Bunny. 🙂
Our Dolls, Part 5
October 24th, 2011
These are the last of the pictures of our dolls together. I meant to post it last week, but just couldn't find the time. XD
Anyway, when my sister first got her Soom Aren a few years ago, we made up a story where Aren the angel fell in love with a human—Ethyn. She wanted more than anything to be human so that they could be together but since she couldn't she became his protector and guardian instead.
