A Wolf in the Woods

A Wolf in the Woods (1 of 2)

This is one of my new boys—Taeyang Valko. I've wanted him for awhile now because I thought he'd be a perfect match for my Bloody Red Hood. Plus, I love his face-up and outfit.

I replaced his original fur ears with some resin ears that I got from Pipos Doll many years ago. I've not decided if he'll keep these or if I'll try to snag one of Sparrow's commission slots and get some of her wolf ears for Valko. For now though, I'm really liking these resin ears.

I also painted his nails, gave him a tattoo and changed his wig.

Madoka!

Madoka!

Madoka is my second Cu-poche, and I'm loving how cute she is. In real-life, her pink coloring comes across more muted (I would say it's a dusty rose), but I like her looking more vibrant in pictures.

I've not seen the anime that she is from, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, but I've heard a little about it. I guess it's a magical girl anime that in turn deconstructs the genre. I've still not made up my mind if I will ever watch it—it sounds super-sad. For now, I'll just finish watching one of my favorite magical girl animes, Sailor Moon Crystal, which I'm greatly enjoying (it's adorable and nostalgic).

New Eyes, Again!

New Eyes, Again! (1 of 2)

I'm feel like I'm always trying new eyes for Thane. This time, he's wearing 12mm ErsaFlora Eyes in Petrol Peacock with Black Base. I thought it would be fun to try out black scleras since he's a demon.

Anyway, I quite like them. They are high quality acrylic eyes, and the metallic irises really catch the light.

Oliver, Oliver…

Isul Glen (1 of 3)

I took some better close-up shots of my Isul Glen. I just love his face-up so much. I think it looks like a custom face-up.

I think I'm going to name his Oliver. I recently ordered him a couple more hats (a paperboy cap and a flat cap). I definitely see him in early 1900s hats.
