Rococo Nights, Part III
January 24th, 2012
Things are starting to get steamy!
When I was taking these pictures, I imagined that they were still photos from Ethyn's latest period movie (he's an actor). In that movie, Chloe's character is married to a powerful older man, but she has long been attracted to Ethyn's dangerously sexy and virile character. Here we see them finally give into their passions. :XO:

And here is the second part of the series. 🙂 Now you know who the mysterious stranger is: Ethyn!
Rococo Nights, Part I
January 20th, 2012
I'm going to be posting this photo session in multiple parts because I took so many pictures—152 to be exact! It took me seven hours (from set up, which took two hours in itself, to take down, which thankfully only took about 45 minutes) to take do this shoot. But don't worry, I'm not going to make you slog through all of those. I'm being very ruthless in culling photos and I'll be showing you a only small fraction of them. Plus, it's kind of overwhelming editing so many photos so it makes it easier to post in smaller batches. So expect more photos with this same theme next week!
This photo session has been a long time coming. My poor doll models have been dressed in their Rococo costumes for over a year now waiting for me to get my act together. Basically, I had really high expectations for this shoot and was afraid I wouldn't be able to meet them; however, it went more smoothly than I had expected. Granted, I'm not ready to do another shoot on this scale in the near future. It was exhausting!
Face Forward, Part I
December 23rd, 2011
I've been wanting to do this for a while now: make mosaics of my dolls showing all the face-ups they've had, from the first to the most current.
Brandee (Limhwa Elly) Face-up Credits:
top and bottom left: Limhwa default (yes, they are both the same face-up, except for the beauty mark I added on the bottom picture, but I couldn't decide what picture to use…XD )
right: Xtreme Dolls/Cristy Stone
Note: The Cristy Stone face-up is amazing. I love it! There's only one problem I'm having with it: Brandee is Emily's (my Supia Rosy's) mother and her face-up seems a bit too perfect when compared to Emily's more realistic one. I keep wondering if they should have face-ups by the same artist. Too bad Emily's face-up artist is no longer around. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I definitely won't be wiping Emily's face-up though—I love how much character and realism it has (see below).
Shadow Play

Warning: Some of the pictures in this series are NSFW. There is doll nudity.
Here are some pictures I took of Chloe's dreaming human face before it got a face-up. I'm glad I took these pictures; the blank face has a beauty all its own, I think.
