Rococo Nights, Part I
January 20th, 2012
I'm going to be posting this photo session in multiple parts because I took so many pictures—152 to be exact! It took me seven hours (from set up, which took two hours in itself, to take down, which thankfully only took about 45 minutes) to take do this shoot. But don't worry, I'm not going to make you slog through all of those. I'm being very ruthless in culling photos and I'll be showing you a only small fraction of them. Plus, it's kind of overwhelming editing so many photos so it makes it easier to post in smaller batches. So expect more photos with this same theme next week!
This photo session has been a long time coming. My poor doll models have been dressed in their Rococo costumes for over a year now waiting for me to get my act together. Basically, I had really high expectations for this shoot and was afraid I wouldn't be able to meet them; however, it went more smoothly than I had expected. Granted, I'm not ready to do another shoot on this scale in the near future. It was exhausting!
I was surprised that this costume fit Chloe since it's tailored especially for the Super Gem body. I originally had Katriss wearing it, but I thought Chloe suited it better. The only part of the costume that doesn't fit Chloe is the chemise—it's way too tight across her breasts—so I left it off. So, basically, she's not wearing any underwear (how scandalous!).
A teaser photo of what to expect next week! Whose hand is that grasping Chloe's necklace? I bet you can guess. 😉

This dress is outstanding, can you imagine being so weathy to wear it back in the time. Chloe is beautiful yet flirty!! Her wig and jewelry really highlight the beading on the dress. She looks like a Duchess. Now is it Tristan.Love me Can't wait to see more. 8)

She is quite the coquette! That dress is a work of art. So art your shots. And that hand…I can just imagine how he lightly brushes his knuckles along her skin.
