Eye Candy
September 10th, 2009
I've been taking a break from dolly stuff lately, but I feel renewed once again. I have a slight backlog of pictures to post though so you can expect some picture spam coming up. haha
These pictures of Kaylee were originally intended to show items of clothing that I was going to sell on the DoA marketplace. However, she ended up looking so cute in most of them, that I decided to keep almost everything. XD
I also got new glass eyes for her that I love.
Winter Picnic

The weather up here hasn't been very cooperative, so the girls decided to have a picnic indoors.
The Stranger, a fanfic
January 31st, 2009
My friend and faithful reader of my blogs, Reyoko, wrote a wonderful fantasy starring Kaylee (MNF Shushu), Katriss (Soom Beryl), Wednesday (Lati Green Coco) and Ethyn (DS Hound). It's called "The Stranger" and was inspired by my Rainy Day Dreams photo shoot and a subsequent discussion that we had about a story idea. As it doesn't directly tie into my characters' stories, I'm going to consider it a movie or play that some of them starred in. 🙂
Thank you so much, Reyoko! I'm very flattered that my photography and dolls inspired you enough to write a story. I hope you continue it someday. I want to find out what happens next. :XO:
The Wee Ones Family Portrait
December 29th, 2008
When I was taking pictures of my Shushu the other day, I decided I wanted to see what she would look like with the rest of the tiny dolls that live here. They all look so cute together. At least, I think so. 🙂 Someday, I'll have to take a family portrait of all my dolls together.
Little Miss No Name…
December 27th, 2008
My Minifee Shushu is finally done! Yay! I received her back in mid-October with her very pretty default face-up. However, I decided I wanted a different look for her—a wholesome, girl-next-door, farm girl type of look. So, I sent her off with Katriss (my Beryl) to get her face-up done by Kittymaru.
Unfortunately, when she returned home, I accidentally chipped her lips. :vangry: My attempts to fix it just made matters worse and I ended up having to wipe her amazing new face-up. I felt sick and very pissed off at myself. Luckily, I was able to send her back to Kittymaru and she got a (yet another) new face-up.
When she returned home again, I did a few touch-ups on her—added more blush to her cheeks, tinted her lips a bit more, touched up the corners of her eyes (they had a bit of black in them from her eyeliner), attached her upper eyelashes and glossed her lips. I'm really happy with her completed look.
So, a bit of a rocky start, but now that she's all done and looking so cute, it's easy to put the frustrations behind me.
