   He is sitting on the desk with me. I just cannot stop staring at him. I cannot wait to start taking pictures tomorrow. I did not charge any camera batteries. I really did not think he was coming today. According to the UPS website we was still somewhere between Tennessee and Florida.

   I have a few names in mind. I am just letting us get to know each other before I arbitrarily assign him a name. Among the short list: Lucian, Jaden, Jared, Colin, Alec, and Bryce.

   I have been looking at lighter wigs. I have found a few that I like but may wait a week or two. I have a feeling he will end up with a dark blond or light brown. I found a pair of lilac glass eyes on ebay I really like that would look good with lighter hair. Plus his brown eyebrows look a bit odd with black hair.

   All good names (I'm a bit partial to "Alec" 😉 ).

   I agree with you about the hair color. I've seen a black-haired Jace on DoA (owned by DominiqueB, I think) and he's gorgeous, but he also has a custom face-up with black brows.

   Really looking forward to seeing more pictures of your guy.

   Oh, I wanted to ask you: Were you surprised by his size at all? I remember when my guys came in, I was surprised at how tall they were, and Jace was so heavy compared to Ethyn. I mean, I knew they were going to be big, but still wasn't quite prepared for how big they'd be in person. I love how tall they are.

   I was the opposite I think. I was expecting to be overwhelmed by how big he was but I wasn't. He definitely has some weight to him. I think the thing that surprised me the most was the "feel" of him. It is a very odd resin. It is so smooth it almost looks like a plastic. And he is warmer than I expected.

   I think I hate the pants I bought for him. They ride very high. Not Urkel high, but up there. I think I am going to save up for http://dollsandfriends.com/item_uniuscr02_second_special_outfit_for_67cm_jace_bjd_shirt_hood_scarf_pants_chains_pendants . I do not "love" the jacket, but do like the pants. But then I may just get the custom leather pants.

   I wish I had spent more time today working on the pants I am trying to sew for him. I even went out and bought a sewing machine. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be busy with photography and sewing.

   And I am rather partial the Alec myself. I kept gravitating to "J" names because of the Jace.

   haha! Loved the photostory! You have a great sense of humor, I was cracking up. And it was very sweet. Really, I've had a lot of fun helping you with this. Also, it was cool seeing Dominik on your desktop.

   By the way, these are some really nice jeans from Cheery Doll. I don't remember that that had a high rise. I can try them on Dom later today and let you know if you're interested.

   Wow! I like those pants quite a bit. I remember seeing them on Ethyn in this thread I think. I may have to order those …

   I am sewing him a pair of pants quite literally at this moment. I had just ran back to the computer to see the next step. I have put the pattern pants on hold, they are just too difficult to start back to sewing with. I am giving the shirt a vest a try today if the pants work out. Alec has some seriously thick thighs.

   So neither pair of the boots I got him will fit on his fat feet.

   Oh, no. That sucks. 🙁 He really is hard fit–muscular chest, thighs, calves; and wide feet. What boots did you get for him?

   Here are some shoes and boots that fit my guy really well:

   —SBS-18 For Senior Boy (Mix Black) (also available in Brown)
   —SBS-21 For Senior Delf Boy (Gold Black) (come in black too)
   —SBS-03 MARTEN BOOTS For Senior Delf Boy (Black) (brown too) These are one of my favorite pair of boots.

   And, then I've already shown you these. I don't have them, but I'm pretty sure they'd fit him. Actually, I think you're pretty safe with the Senior Delf Boy shoes.

   Are you looking for taller boots? These boots fit him too (post #6) if you don't mind the fact that the sole if platform-y.

   I bought the boots off ebay. I can try to resell them. If not I am not out a huge amount of money. They are long enough, just not quite wide enough for his foot to go all the way in. I might be able to condition the leather a bit to see if I can get them to give that extra bit.

   The boots I want at Luts are out of stock of course.

    You are such an enabler. The clothing on the post you sent me is too gorgeous for words. Not really up my alley, but a few things are just gorgeous and I might have to have them.

    I tried my hand at some sewing today. Not perfect, but I got some ideas for the next time. The vest is from the Hollywood pattern.

    It looks like you had fun today. His new clothes look great! I love his pj bottoms and his vest (it's cool how it can be reversed). The slacks turned out really well too.

    Oh, and what a cute teddy he has. 😀

    Marsh is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale. I cannot remember if it was this week or month. Just thought I would pass on the good news, I picked up 3 pairs for Alec.
