I'm happy that I can finally introduce Dominik, the newest member of my household, to you all now that he's finally wearing clothes. Ethyn, my Hound, has tried to be welcoming but it's been hard for him to get used to having a new guy around.
Dom: Finally…clothes! I'd almost forgotten the feel of cotton against my body.
Ethyn: For the love of… Your ass is hanging out!
Dom: *turns around as he pulls his shirt down* I'm sorry…what?
Ethyn: Ack…commando! Zip up your pants, dude!
Me: Okay, turn around again, Dom. I need a picture from a different angle. *smiles wickedly*
Ethyn: Gah! My eyes! Have mercy, woman!
Me: Jeez, who knew you were such a prude.
Dom: *in an undertone* Can't I just get dressed in peace?
Ethyn: Is it safe to look yet?
Dom: I don't think I want to wear the vest. It's kind of hot today.
Ethyn: It's all about layers, Dom. Be one with the layers.
Dom: Hmm… You certainly seem insistent on me covering up. *takes the vest* I think you protest too much, mein freund.
Ethyn: No, I…
Dom and I: *laugh*
Ethyn: *grumble*

He is sitting on the desk with me. I just cannot stop staring at him. I cannot wait to start taking pictures tomorrow. I did not charge any camera batteries. I really did not think he was coming today. According to the UPS website we was still somewhere between Tennessee and Florida.
I have a few names in mind. I am just letting us get to know each other before I arbitrarily assign him a name. Among the short list: Lucian, Jaden, Jared, Colin, Alec, and Bryce.
I have been looking at lighter wigs. I have found a few that I like but may wait a week or two. I have a feeling he will end up with a dark blond or light brown. I found a pair of lilac glass eyes on ebay I really like that would look good with lighter hair. Plus his brown eyebrows look a bit odd with black hair.

I was the opposite I think. I was expecting to be overwhelmed by how big he was but I wasn't. He definitely has some weight to him. I think the thing that surprised me the most was the "feel" of him. It is a very odd resin. It is so smooth it almost looks like a plastic. And he is warmer than I expected.
I think I hate the pants I bought for him. They ride very high. Not Urkel high, but up there. I do not "love" the jacket, but do like the pants. But then I may just get the custom leather pants.
I wish I had spent more time today working on the pants I am trying to sew for him. I even went out and bought a sewing machine. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be busy with photography and sewing.
And I am rather partial the Alec myself. I kept gravitating to "J" names because of the Jace.

Wow! I like those pants quite a bit. I remember seeing them on Ethyn in this thread I think. I may have to order those …
I am sewing him a pair of pants quite literally at this moment. I had just ran back to the computer to see the next step. I have put the pattern pants on hold, they are just too difficult to start back to sewing with. I am giving the shirt a vest a try today if the pants work out. Alec has some seriously thick thighs.

I bought the boots off ebay. I can try to resell them. If not I am not out a huge amount of money. They are long enough, just not quite wide enough for his foot to go all the way in. I might be able to condition the leather a bit to see if I can get them to give that extra bit.
The boots I want at Luts are out of stock of course.

You are such an enabler. The clothing on the post you sent me is too gorgeous for words. Not really up my alley, but a few things are just gorgeous and I might have to have them.

I tried my hand at some sewing today. Not perfect, but I got some ideas for the next time. The vest is from the Hollywood pattern.
