Sneak-Peek: Katriss and Emily

Face-ups and all pictures are by Cristy of X-tremedolls.

I received some wonderfully exciting, doll-related news today: Katriss and Emily's face-ups are done and they are absolutely gorgeous! Cristy, face-up artist extraordinaire, sent me pictures of their completed face-ups this morning. I had tears of happiness running down my face by the time I was done looking through them. ♥


Katriss (Soom Beryl)

I couldn't wait to show off their new looks, so Cristy kindly gave me permission to post her pictures of my girls' here. Hopefully they will be back home by the end of the week or early next week. I can't wait to see them in person and see them with their usual eyes and wigs on.

» KATRISS «

I love how Katriss has that supermodel pout going on. And her eyebrows slay me—they are amazing in their detail and their arch-iness. (Yay for made-up words. 😉 ) I'm also glad I asked for the beauty mark. It gives the perfect finishing touch. She's definitely succubus material.

Oh, and in case you're curious, these were the main pictures I sent along as an influence for her face-up: pic 1, pic 2.

» EMILY SHADOWTALON «

Oh, Emily! She turned out just as I envisioned. No, scratch that. Cristy took my vision and enhanced it tenfold. Emily looks so glamourous! Edmond won't know what to do with himself when he sees her. 😉 I asked for Cristy to add a splash of purple to her smokey eyeshadow (since it's Emily's favorite color), and I love how it looks. And, again, I adore how her eyebrows turned out (I do so love good and detailed doll eyebrows). I think Cristy even painted Emily's tooth plate (just like her eyes, the teeth can actually be removed when you open her head cap), what a nice detail!

As you may have noticed, I also had Cristy pierce the girls' ears while they were there. Now I can get little earrings for them! That'll be fun. 🙂

    Wow,
    No wonder you are so excited. They are absolutely stunning. I love the dark, red 40ish sultry look of Katriss and Emily's softer look is breathtaking. Cristy did an amazing job and i also love the eyebrows. I am glad you can now buy earrings, Have fun when they come home. :XO:

    I really like the way Emily turned out. But I think I like the natural look ~ Katriss does look like the perfect man-eater though. She scares me 😛

    Maranwet: I was so surprised and pleased at how different they look. It's amazing what a new face-up can do.

    And, yes, I too want eyebrows like that. haha 🙂

    Lani: Emily looks a lot more like her Sim version now. :XO: And Katriss definitely has the femme fatale look, which is exactly what I was going for.

    Incredible! Katriss has that classic vamp look about her, a real maneater, smoldering. And Emily…I am speechless. And I want that outfit of hers! LOL!

    I cannot wait to see what you do with them when they arrive. I bet Edmond is anxious as well! :XO:

    Kara, They are wonderful. I love Cristy's work so much. I love katriss-she looks really, well, vamp (is that still a word?) 😆

    @Gayl: "Vamp" is a great way to describe Katriss. I love that outfit that Cristy has Emily wearing too! I wish I had it. 😆 And, yes, Edmond is very, very excited to get her back. 😉

    @Aunt Cher: I agree, Cristy is wonderfully talented and very nice. I really enjoyed working with her. I'm so happy to finally have her artwork on two of my girls.

    Congratulations, Kara! It's a great feeling to know you've chosen the perfect artist to bring your vision to life. I recently sent my Iplehouse I, Amy and Tania away to a face-up artist in Hong Kong because I always felt their default faceups just didn't match up with the characters in my imagination. I got photos back recently from the artist and I was thrilled to say the least! So I absolutely understand how excited you must be!

    Can you please tell me who did your Rosy (Emily) and if her wig is what you have on her now. I love her and would love to get that exact doll. Dont suppose you are ready to sell?

    Emily has a newer face-up (and head) now, but the one in the above photos was done by Cristy Stone of Extreme Dolls. I actually ended up selling this head over a year ago and getting a new one because I thought this face-up was too lovely to wipe.

    As for the wig, hmm… I'm pretty sure it's a 7-8" Monique Gold Ciara wig in Brown Black.
