Rainy Day Dreams
September 11th, 2008
It was rainy so Wednesday was forced to stay inside. I don't think she minded too much though. She spent most of the afternoon lost in her imagination.
A black and white version of the above picture. With this dress on, I think the black and white picture makes her look like she's from the 1940s or something.
She almost looks like she's glowing.
Far-away eyes.
For some reason (maybe because of the saturated colors), this reminds me of a black and white photo that has been colored—very 1950s. I love this dress, by the way.
Because of the black bars I put on this one, it looks like a movie screenshot to me.
A friend in the reflection.
Omake:
I tried to make this look like an old photo you might find hidden away in a trunk in your great-grandmother's attic.

This artist rendering of Wednesday–color, black and white and reflective imagery–is fantastic. Where did you get her darling dress. She is truly a little beauty. Her eyes look wonderful and dreamy. Love, Mom :XO:

This definitely looks like something you'll find in old-styled movies set in the early 16rh century. It'd make one heck of a movie! 🙂

I'm loving all these pictures of Wednesday. She's such a sweetheart. I love what you did with her hair and the matching clips. Your photography is beautiful, as always! 🙂

Hm… that's not a bad idea! But what would it be about? 😈 Oooh! I got it!
"A young girl, barely older than ten years old, watched as both her mother and father passed on from an unsual and unexplained illness. Only her older brother remained. She never complained. Not once. She was happy that at least her brother was by her side and hoped that he would forever. So when he too was found dead beneath his favourite oak tree, a peaceful expression on his face, a book in his hands, the young girl was stunned. As well as the rest of the village. She attended the funeral of her brother, and remained in the house alone as she had no other relative to take care of her. Only a young man (I was thinking Dominic could play this role)who worked with her father as his lawyer became hers and she, through him, lived her life with the money left from her parents. Days passed, then weeks, and though she seemed content enough with school and the neighbours who pitied and helped her, she was not. She wished for her brother to be with her again. Each day she would go back to his favourite oak tree and read outloud his favourite novel, even though at times some of the words she could not pronouce. She wished he would return to her, in any form that he could. At the anniversary of his death a year later, the young girl visited his tree at night instead of in the day. That day, more than any, she wished him back. A creature suddenly appeared (maybe it'll be Molly?) and asked her if that was truly her wish. The young girl nodded and the creature said she would grant the girl her brother's soul (his spirit). If she was able to have the brother care and fall in love with someone even though he doesn't have a body, his soul would remain on earth with her and he'd receive a new body. However, if she fails and he only ever cares for her and has no one fall for him, his soul would return to the heavens and his memories of the young girl would cease to exist (so even if they met again after she goes to heaven, he wouldn't remember her at all). The girl agreed, and her brother's soul was brought back to her through the form of…"
How's that? 😳 Spurr of the moment thing. What'd you think?

Hahaha… 😀 No problem. I'm mostly known for my 'spur of the moment' stories (since I pretty much take forever for the ones I plan). I would SO love to see the photoshot if you ever get the chance to do it. But personally, I think you're right. It would be much easier using the Sims2.
But I couldn't think of what form he could be in when his soul was brought back to earth. At first I thought of a kitten/cat 😮 (since we both like cats) or some other animal. But that sort of plot has been used a good number of times… what do you think? 😈

Hmmm… That's not a bad idea! :XO: I can so imagine Ethyn as a fox! Both are cunning and sly to no extent. And they can say one thing but then actually mean another (or at least that's the impression I get of him through your photoshoots).
Now to find the time to write it…
*faints from mountain of maths homework* 😕

Do you have any advice for dealing with a Tiny Bear wig? I got it stretched, but I cannot keep the darn thing on her! I finally put a bit of the glue she recommended and hope that work. But I am having no luck at all with any kind of styling.

Thanks Kara. The directions they came with were pretty much illegible, so I have been guessing. I will try washing it next weekend and see if that helps at all. It is very … fuzzy. But absolutely beautiful. It suits her more than an acrylic would I think, though I think it would be much easier to deal with.

Thanks, I got it washed and conditioned this evening and it is drying. I hope this works. Once I got it wet I realized how large one of the end seams were! No wonder I could not get any decent styles, I had it in the front for some reason. In a couple days I will have to do the other one. Thanks for all your help. Again!
