Ethyn is away from home at the moment as he is starring as a young Victorian gentleman in a new play called "Enthralled". His character is a poet who has lost his inspiration to write until he meets an unusual muse in his dreams.

As a side note, these are some of the last pictures you'll see with Ethyn's current face-up. I've had him for a year and half now and it's getting kind of faded (it was already light to begin with). He's being sent out soon to get a new one. I'm very excited about it and totally trust the artist who's going to work on him. She's someone whose work I've admired since I first started collecting BJDs.

    He reminds me of what Louis was supposed to look like in the Vampire chronicles.

    I swear to God, they are being mailed this weekend! I've just been incredibly tired and lazy on the weekends and I don't get my butt to the PO on time 🙁

    Ethyn is enthralling with the look of a poet. I love his suit and the "poet" shirt. The shirt throws me back to Pride and Prejudice etc. Can't wait to see his repaint. :XO:

    Thanks, Mom! Yeah, I have a weakness for lacy shirts on men. :XO: Oh, and SDink is the artist who will be repainting him. She's been super nice to me and is amazingly talented.

    I absolutely adore the way you dressed him up. :XO: It completely matches his role as a poet. And the way you positioned his head to have that 'deep, thoughtful' look is just too much! 😮

    I'm incredibly curious as to who this 'muse' of his is. Is it a woman? Or could it be… a man? 😯 Oh, you know me and my fantasies (I just can't help them! Hehee~) Well, I agree with Kim. He really does resemble how I pictured Louis base don the books (much better than how he looked in the movies, mind you), only that he needs a slightly darker hair wig.

    Actually, the muse is the succubus he's standing with in this picture. I'll be posting the rest of the pictures soon. 🙂 I took them awhile ago. She doesn't even look the same anymore.

    Sorry to disappoint about the muse not being a man, but I think you'll be happy about another photo session that I have planned in the future. 😉 Although it won't happen for awhile as the guy I need is currently away getting his face-up (no, not Ethyn…another guy who you've not met yet). I'm having so much fun planning.

    Your dollies and photos are gorgeous as always Kara. It was fun to see your name in the Soom group order, reminded me to get over here and drool over your amazing boys.

    My mother does not understand the dolls, and I certainly have not told her the extent I have invested, but she is in love with Wednesday. She had me on the Lati sight for her to show her how it works 🙂

    As for the future photoshoot… did you get a new doll? 😈 Or could it be…your Spinel that you're talking about? Hm… well, either way, I'm looking forward to it! 😆

    Aw, thank you! Yeah, I had to get in on that group order to get some boots that I've been drooling over for Julian. Are you getting something for Alec?

    Maybe your Mom will get a Lati doll then? That would be fun to share your hobby with her. My mom likes my dolls and even collects some dolls of her own although no ball-joint dolls (she has some Tonner, Gene and Ginny dolls).

    Anyway, yes, I did get a new doll (he's a surprise) and yes, Julian (my Spinel) will also be in the future photo shoot too. I'm so excited to work on it and I'm already planning out the shoot. I think it's actually going to tell more of a story than my usual doll pictures. I'm thinking of laying it out sort of like a manga or comic. But, we'll see. I've never done anything like that before, so it'll be an experiment. 😉

    BanSidhe: Yay for pictures! Mei's gown is beautiful! I love the fabric you're using. She looks like a snow princess.

    Well, I will definitely be looking forward to that! Hehe. I'm always up for something new, especially if it's boyxboy-ish related and has something to do with mangas! 😉 But I wonder how this is going to play out. Hm… well, guess I just have to wait and see.

    I have to wait even longer since I'm jetting off to Venice tomorrow. 😥 Even if you post it soon I wouldn't be able to see it. Nooo…!

    Ooo! Have a fun and safe trip in Venice, Reyoko. 🙂 No worries, I'm sure you will be back in plenty of time before I have a chance to get to that particular story. I have a feeling I'm not going to be able to get around to it until around Christmas or even early next year as I have another story I need to tell to sort of set the stage (so to speak). And then my Sims stuff, of course… Too many things to do! haha :roll:
