Contrasts (1 of 4)

It's been awhile since I've posted pictures of my dolls. I'm slacking! These were taken back in September and I still have a few more sets to upload after this one (I'm a little backlogged 😉 ).

Anyway, here's Julian doing what he does best—brooding and looking sexy. I still haven't managed to get a full shirt on the boy…not that I'm trying all that hard, mind you.

    I love your photography. How do you get the depth, the black and white and the polaroid shots? Is it with your camera or a program. These should be sent to Haute Doll Magazine. Love, Mom 8)

    These are really lovely photos, they all look so atmospheric – sort of thoughtful, reflective. Sehr nice! Julian is a really good-looking guy, though, so it must be a breeze taking awesome pics of him. 😀

    My two have been a bit neglected lately, because of the amount of other stuff I've been doing. I've been saving up my spare cash, but I'm not sure which doll I want next. Decisions, decisions!

    Mom and Lani: Thank you! The background of the top three was turned to black and white in photoshop. The Polaroid is also heavily photoshopped. So, yeah, graphics program. XXXOOO 🙂

    amalinaball: haha Thanks! He's actually kind of hard to take pictures of since I'm still getting to know what his best angles are, but it's fun to take pictures of hot guys so… 😉

    I didn't know you had a second BJD. Who else did you get? Any particular dolls you're looking at to be your third?

    Well, I have my little AoD Chi still (he's undergone a bit of a character change since I first got him) and he's my little "huggy" doll. I still think he's great, though for a while I was very short on money and almost had to sell him. Thankfully my cousin looked after him for a bit and I let him practise his body-brushing and such (he LOVES my Chi). Then I got more money for Easter and found I could keep him. But it was miss and go a for a while. 🙂 Now he's sitting on my desk with my Domokun keyring.

    Then there's my Hound; I bought him when Dollshe announced they were closing up shop for the time being. He is currently with my cousin, getting a face-up. I love him, too, but my Chi and I are only small and he is HUGE in comparison.

    I don't know exactly which doll I want next; I'll be getting money for Christmas which is always a plus, but I may just save it until I'm 100% sure. I already have a more realistic Dollshe and a sort of cartoony AoD, so I don't suppose it matters how the next one looks.

    I really want to see these next-generation Dollshes, with the new body and face-caps. Bernard was the first doll I wanted but he was sold out when I bought my Hound. 🙁 I'd still love to own one, though I can't say for sure if this new version will appeal in the same way until the shop opens again. (And I hope it's soon!)

    Wow…long comment. :roll: But no-one else in the house is very interested, and it's nice to talk about it sometimes. Heh, sorry!

    Oh, that's right! I remember when you got your Hound (my memory just needed to be refreshed… 😉 ). I'm glad that you didn't have to end up selling your Chi. That would have been sad. It sounds cool that your cousin has helped you body blush him and stuff.

    Yeah, there are so many dolls to choose from! It's hard to narrow it down. The easiest would probably be to decide what size doll you want and go from there. Let me know when you finally decide! 🙂
