Dr. Jones, I Presume…

Dr. Jones, I presume... (1 of 6)

I previously mentioned that I got another action figure in addition to Jack Sparrow. Well, here he is—Indiana Jones—the fictional character that inspired me to get my degree in anthropology and archaeology. XD

I actually took these a couple of weeks ago, but have finally found time to post them. I didn't get as many photos of Indy because the Joe and Jack pics took up so much time (they are so demanding, those two) plus I was trying to hurry and finish up before my parents arrived. At the time, I was also waiting on a new body to arrive for Indy. He comes with a muscular body, which looks great if he's only wearing his shirt (or not wearing his shirt…haha) but it makes him hard to pose in his jacket. So, I got another body for him to use when he's wearing his jacket (the body for Assassin Creed's Ezio). He's much easier to pose now and the jacket hangs a lot better (it doesn't look as bulky). I got the idea from Deak Starkiller, so thank you very much, mate!

Joe Meets Jack

September 6th, 2012

I've admired 12" collectible action figures since I first found out about them a few years ago, but I didn't want to start collecting yet another type of doll. However, last month, I saw photos of Xhanthi's newest doll Jack Sparrow. Well, it was love at first sight. I ran out of willpower and got my first action figure (I also got my second…haha…you'll see photos of him later). Plus, Joe really needs a mentor to teach him to become a better pirate, right? ;)

Hale Shadowtalon

Hale Shadowtalon (1 of 5)

I ordered this guy back in April and he finally arrived in mid-August. I had these photos ready to post a couple of weeks ago, but a broken computer, company and vacations delayed me a bit. Better late then never though! ;)

Anyway, this is Hale Shadowtalon. He is Tahlvin's half-brother (they share the same mother). Hale really admires his older brother. They have a very close relationship and were pretty much inseparable growing up.

I think Hale's gorgeous, but I'm still unsure as to whether or not I'll be keeping him. He really hasn't "clicked" for me yet. I really hate when a doll arrives and I no longer have the same excitement for him that I did when I first ordered him. But, I'm going to give him some more time. I want to take some photos of him with my other dolls, especially his brother. Maybe then he'll "click".

The Story of Joe

July 2nd, 2012

I'm back! Spring was a crazy season for me, but I really want to get back on track and start taking pictures of my dollies again.

A new dolly recently joined the family. His name is Joe and he was my birthday present from my husband. I can't stop squee-ing over Joe! I'm so excited to finally have a little Lati Yellow boy.

Anyway, Joe wrote a little story about himself (he's kind of a self-centered little guy). He hopes you enjoy it. ;)
