Berry Likes Gifts, Part 1
March 25th, 2014
I recently gave Berry some new stuffed animal friends: Mr. Magoo, the bear, and Mortimer, the tortoise.
Me: "Berry! Quit chewing Mr. Magoo. You'll ruin him."
Berry: "But my teefs hurt."
Dollroom Teasers
February 7th, 2014
My dollroom is almost done. I'm still waiting for some bookshelf lighting, and then it should be complete. I decided to take some test photos today before I show you the entire room. I'm really glad I took test shots. I found out I'll definitely need to set up some extra lights—it's kind of dark in there for the camera even with a flash.
This is my Pullip Bloody Red Hood. Also, a few Golden Book Collections are visible—I so enjoyed those books when I was a kid. By the way, Mom, there is the air freshener you gave me from Christmas. 🙂
Jack has needs…
September 8th, 2012
Cap'n Jack: "Well, then…since I be Lilliputian and stuck here for a while, I require certain things to keep me happy. And believe me, love, you don't want me unhappy. Savvy?"
Me: "…"
Cap'n Jack: "Firstly, I must have a steady supply of rum."
Me: "That'll be easy. You're so wee that you shouldn't go through that much."
Cap'n Jack: "You'd be surprised. Oh, and darlin', don't call a man 'wee'. It's very…disconcerting."
Me: "Hmm. And what else do you need."
Cap'n Jack: "First, the rum then let's have a think. Actually, bring me some paper and a quill. I know exactly what my next demand shall be."
Me: "Oh, dear…this is going to cost me, isn't it?"
Cap'n Jack: "Better break out the doubloons, love."
Dr. Jones, I Presume…
September 7th, 2012
I previously mentioned that I got another action figure in addition to Jack Sparrow. Well, here he is—Indiana Jones—the fictional character that inspired me to get my degree in anthropology and archaeology. XD
I actually took these a couple of weeks ago, but have finally found time to post them. I didn't get as many photos of Indy because the Joe and Jack pics took up so much time (they are so demanding, those two) plus I was trying to hurry and finish up before my parents arrived. At the time, I was also waiting on a new body to arrive for Indy. He comes with a muscular body, which looks great if he's only wearing his shirt (or not wearing his shirt…haha) but it makes him hard to pose in his jacket. So, I got another body for him to use when he's wearing his jacket (the body for Assassin Creed's Ezio). He's much easier to pose now and the jacket hangs a lot better (it doesn't look as bulky). I got the idea from Deak Starkiller, so thank you very much, mate!
