You Remind Me of the Babe…

While Ethyn isn't languishing around the house, he's actually out working. I didn't realize it when he first came to live with me, but he's been a struggling actor for awhile now. Recently, however, he caught a big break. He landed the role of Jareth the Goblin King in the new Broadway play Labyrinth (which, by the way, I think would be awesome if it was real…the play, not that Ethyn was in it, although that would be pretty amazing in and of itself. haha).

    Haha…when I saw "Mom" I didn't realize it was your real mom. No fair getting people to plant complimentary comments on your site. 😉

    Not being into BDJs, it's so weird for me to look at the joint point in their chests. I know it's there so they can bend but it's so eerie looking compared to their faces which have a humanistic quality to them.

Or if I do, I find them beautiful as, to me, they are an indicator of him being a poseable piece of art. On the other hand, I still think he looks odd in shorts—his knee joint looks odd to me when it's bent.

    Egats! I just had an epiphany! I was admiring Ethyn's hair and I realize I want his haircut!You see, I've been wanting to cut my hair and well – why not? I love it when a plan comes together. . .if only it can look as good on him on me.

    When I look at all those shots, these particular lyrics come to my mind immediately. The last pic especially:

    He looks incredible. He'd be a great Goblin King! 😀

    I haven't seen it in years, but I always remember it being really amazing. I think it's a film that will always stand the test of time. It's definitely a classic.

    I think Ethyn perfectly inspires that inner conflict of wanting to get close to him, but being frightened of him… all at once.

    Maaan… Yer really makin' me want a BJD. XD

    I agree with you about Labyrinth being a classic. It's just one of those movies that I come back to every so often to renew my sense of wonder. I also love the underlying tragedy and romance of it all. It has so many layers to it and I think you take something different away from it depending on what age you are.

    I just finished watching Voyage of the Unicorn. It was amazing! And now I know where The Sims 2 got the names Oberon and Tatiana or whatever. XD I suggest you watch it!
