Mori Boy
August 31st, 2013
Hale has gotten a style update. I commissioned some horns for him from the wonderful Shannon of Sparrow's Shop, and dressed him up like a mori boy. "Mori", which means "forest" in Japanese, is a style of dressing that incorporates loose-fitting layers of natural fabrics with a nature theme (source: "Mori girl", Wikipedia). His outfit was one that I had originally gotten for Thane but, since I ended up styling Thane in a black-and-white color scheme, the natural colors of the outfit no longer worked for him. The colors do, however, work perfectly for Hale. I think I've finally found Hale's niche.
Also, you probably didn't notice as it's a subtle change, but I did a little updating to my site: I added new random banners up top (it's about time!) and increased the width of the page a bit to accommodate a slightly larger photo format. I didn't want to do a complete redo, but it's nice to have the site updated a bit.

Oh wow, he looks amazing. I love Sparrow's shop, haven't had a chance yet though to buy anything from there.
I love his colour scheme. It's good to see more Mori clothing hitting the market lately. I like that style for my dolls.

The style you have picked for Hale makes him look amazing. I love that outfit. His horns are great. Did you design them and tell them what you wanted. The new lift you gave to your page is great I like the banner and the way you have expanded the page to show things off. Nice job hon!!

I'll definitely let you know if I come across any. I wouldn't mind some myself for my Dollshe boy. I tend to just grab clothing that looks Mori-like and mix and match. I have a hard time finding clothing for the styles I like for my dolls.
