Fitting Wigs

Edited June 3, 2008: Thanks to my awesome Sis, my little doll now has a name. Please meet Wednesday! She's named after the day she arrived and another famous Wednesday.
For the past three days, since she arrived, the Lati Green Girl has been sitting around in her pajamas.
A couple weeks before she arrived, I received three mohair wigs by Tinybear. As Tinybear warns in the pamphlet she includes with her wigs, the wig caps were a bit tight and I couldn't get them over my doll's head.
So, following Tinybear's instructions, I wet the leather wig caps and then stretched them gently until I could fit them over her head to dry. I put plastic wrap over her head to protect from water damage and staining.
The above wig was the first one to finish drying so in this picture, she actually isn't wearing the protective plastic since the leather has already dry. Of the three wigs, I think this Grape one is my favorite. It matches her make-up perfectly.
Wednesday's Child

A new arrival…I've been waiting for this girl to arrive for quite a long time now. I was so excited when I got the notice that she had been shipped.
When the postman came on Wednesday, Alice and Molly were so excited. Their long-lost friend had finally arrived. I had no problem getting them to help me open the box.

Some blocks and props this time around. I had too much fun play– I mean setting up for this photo shoot. The felted animals (cute, huh?) are by violetpi. And the little dresses Molly and Alice are wearing are by Boneka (5 1/2" Jane Davies size).
Wee Wardrobe

As my sister well knows, I promised her these pictures a long time ago. I knew I'd get around to posting them eventually. So, in this post, Alice and Molly model some new clothes they received last month. It's so nice that they wear the same size…and that they are both girls, otherwise I'd be forced to cross-dress a boy doll. 😉
This Russian doll dress that Molly is wearing is by lalami. Her bowtie was a free gift that came with Molly when she arrived from Piposdoll.
Bewitched

Since I staged an "official" box-opening for Alice, I couldn't refuse to do one for Molly as well. Hopefully, with my next doll, I won't be too lazy to take the pictures when the doll actually arrives and not months after the fact. haha!
Molly arrived from Piposdoll in a pretty gold box decorated like a present. I loved that little touch.
