First Blush

My newest doll came in last week (Tuesday the 3rd). I haven't shown him yet because I was really disappointed with how his face-up (done by Soom) came out. While I loved his smoky eyes, I thought his lips looked way too too girly.
Pretty lips…if he was a girl.
But, yeah, they weren't going to work for him. So, I decided to redo them.
And this is how they turned out. They aren't perfect, but they'll do. Pretty damn good for my first attempt at any type of face-up whatsoever. haha I love how subtle his lips are now–much more masculine, I think.
The next thing to do was blush his body. This part took me several days because of all the rain we've had up here lately (you really can't spray the MSC [sealant] when it's rainy or really humid). I concentrated on doing a subtle and natural blush. I hate blushing that looks too obvious. I just wanted to emphasis where the shadows fall.
Anyway, here are all the parts drying after I sealed them all. It looks like some sort of weird surreal forest. 😯
heehee Okay, no more surreal pictures. I promise to show off his blush and sexy body later.
First though, I must restring him. Hmm…think I'll go do that right now, actually. Later!

I think his lips so much better after you redid them. Here are my ignorances–How did you do the lips and I didn't know you could blush the body. Is that like a repaint? Love, Me

Well, the lips were quite girly at first, now they look masculine and sexy. Great job on the face-up! :up:

But I'm not much of a collector.
I mostly like to observe, worship and obsess. 😮

It's funny how customizing BJDs and sims can be alike. Never realised. You choose the eyes, the face shape, the hair, the accessories…

And just as sims, they trully find their character when we pose them in pics and model their personalities…
Lips are gorgeous, just as your sims one! Which I'm still a big fan of 😉
Can't wait to see New Guy all stringed, wiged and dressed up. Because for now, I find surreal limbs forrest a tad creepy 😯

What did you use for sealant? The Japanese stuff I have seen as recommended seems so toxic …
